Flat shores, which offer a view of wide fields and meadows or are surrounded by reeds, alternate with wooded, steep shores.
The first stage of the tour leads from the traditional spa town Feldberger Seenlandschaft, via the Haussee with the romantic Liebesinsel to the Breiter Luzin, which at 58.5 meters is the second deepest lake in the country and crystal clear. After a short detour over the small Lütter Lake, we will go to the Narrow Luzin. This glacial channel lake, which connects the Breiter Luzin with the Carwitzer See, is more like a river with its width of 80 to 300 meters and its 7 kilometers length.
The transfer station at the Bäk stream is a good opportunity for a shore leave. From the Hauptmannsberg there is a fantastic view of the surrounding area and of Lake Carwitz. This lake presents itself with crystal clear water, small islands and wonderful bathing bays.
Directly after the brook Bäk you will find the camping site at the Carwitzer See on the right side. Here is the end of your tour or you can make a small additional round trip on Lake Carwitz.
Water profile
The tour is also suitable for inexperienced SUPers. Quiet lakes, since no motorboats are allowed except for a few exceptions. One transfer point at the Bäk stream. For Lake Carwitz, paddling near the shore is recommended from wind force 3.
