Two stud farms rich in tradition and between them a 170-kilometer cross-border, long bridle path that leads through a beautiful, varied landscape. Riding and driving in a cultural landscape that offers a variety of historical and tourist highlights and captivates with natural beauty. And all of this in a region that is sparsely populated, where the few cars still gladly make room for the riders - this is how the Stud Trail can be characterized.
On the Stud Trail you will ride through idyllic villages and scenic trails. The southern Prignitz region in Brandenburg is characterized by meadows, forests and fields interrupted by hedges, avenues and small streams. There are charming detours to the nearby Elbe River and its wet meadows, densely populated by birds. Northwards, the route passes through the moorland of the Prignitz. In contrast to this is the southern Mecklenburg "Griese Gegend". Extensive pine forests, rolling hills, extensive meadows and fields as well as small moors characterize the region.
The state studs of Redefin and Neustadt (Dosse) with their long histories and magnificent buildings exude a very special charm and offer a unique backdrop as the starting or ending point of the stud trail.
This is trail riding at its best in a unique cultural landscape shaped by tradition!
