As a starting point you can choose either Gutshaus Ehmkendorf in the north of the route or Schloss Alt Sammit in the more southern Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide. The two stately homes are connected by a little more than 100 kilometers of route, which winds through the beautiful landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As further stops for overnight stays Gut Gremmelin and FerienGut Dalwitz open you house, yard and pastures.

Riding along the estate tour is designed for a total of three days

The route is varied, leads over field paths, through old forests and along wide meadows, from the Recknitz Valley to the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide or just the other way around. Also the small villages, through which the way leads, are to be discovered. Especially great: Not only the manor houses and castles, which function as trail riding stations, can be seen along the way. M-V itself and the manor house tour specifically are peppered with the feudal buildings! With a little luck and depending on the time of year, you'll see the birds of fortune passing through.

Hints:

  • Ride at least in pairs
  • Be considerate to other users and to nature
