After a thorough briefing, the unforgettable rafting adventure begins with a trip across the Great Priepert Lake to Wesenberg on the Woblitz Lake. Along the way, numerous trees in lush shades of green and dense reeds line the banks of the Havel and lakes. At the fisherman in Ahrensberg, a stop near the covered house bridge is worthwhile before the Havel passes through a canal to the Wesenberg lock. Once in Wesenberg, adventurers can stroll leisurely in the footsteps of the Middle Ages or enjoy Mecklenburg cuisine in one of the many small restaurants. Visible from afar, the castle of Wesenberg is enthroned on a hill and offers a fantastic view of the charming lake landscape.
On the Woblitzsee recreational captains steer the raft about 3 km north again to the Havel. The raft glides on through mysterious marshland to the Great Labus Lake, at the northern tip of which lies Zwenzow. At the Zwenzow lock the realm of the Müritz National Park with its species-rich nature begins. Before the return journey, a shore excursion promises further adventurous experiences.
The return trip offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing and relaxing. From the raft, an unknown and fascinating perspective of impressive natural spectacles opens up. Ospreys and white-tailed eagles make their circles, herons stride through the shallow shore waters and mallards and great crested grebes cavort in the clear water.
