The hike begins in the small village of Priepert, idyllically situated on a peninsula. From there, the trail leads past a rock garden to the forestry office, where there is an information board about a tar kiln. Here you can find information about the tar trade that used to be carried out here. The trail continues through woods and past meadows to a former lime kiln, where a display board provides interesting facts about the lime trade. From here, you return to Priepert along the same route, with many impressions and new knowledge.
Route description
From Priepert, follow the road to the east. Turn left at Steingarten in the direction of "Försterei". Pass the forester's lodge and follow the path to the right until you reach the lime kiln. Take the same route back.
