Parents who want to offer their children education as well as fun are in the right place in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the exciting museums and adventure exhibitions of the vacation state, young and old researchers can quench their thirst for knowledge, experiment and learn. Whether diving into the underwater worlds of native freshwater fish and exotic sea creatures, embarking on a journey through time to the history of human development or understanding the secrets of nature - the modern worlds of knowledge in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern provide answers to many curious questions. At the same time, they convey complex topics interactively for young and old and encourage them to try things out and experience them. But it is not only mysterious natural phenomena that can be examined more closely in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Technical and historical developments of the state's inhabitants are also impressively shown throughout the state. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern just makes you smart. Many excursion destinations also organize children's birthday parties with individual program points - an unforgettable experience.

Exciting Exhibitions and Hands-on Museums

Young vacationers and their parents can explore the rural life of times past in open-air museums and on historic farms. Curious visitors learn what rural life was like in the past with the help of old machines and tools, as well as lovingly assembled mementos. Children can rummage everywhere, climb onto old combine harvesters and even take the big steering wheel in their own hands for once. Here, people still make pottery, felt, knit and bake just like in grandma's day.
