by World of Lights
During ZooLichtZauber, the World of Lights will transform the zoo into a magical world of lights from January 4 to March 2. On the way from the main entrance to the Darwineum, the animal enclosures and the park will be artfully illuminated and visitors will be immersed in a colorful sea of lights. In the Darwineum, guests can look forward to an evening tour of the exhibition and experience what goes on in the living museum at night.
With lights, lasers, fog and other diverse effects, the World of Lights creates a very special atmosphere in the wooded park landscape of the zoo. In many places, the light installations are accompanied audiovisually - with sounds or atmospheric music. With lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo, the so-called Big Five await visitors to the Darwineum as electronically controlled animatronics. Other interactive lighting elements, where guests can use sensors to influence the lighting effects, can be found throughout the tour of the ZooLichtZauber. Another special highlight is the hydro shield - a 120 square meter water screen onto which an impressive light installation is projected.
With the ZooLichtZauber, the World of Lights always brings light into the dark season from Thursday to Sunday and daily during the winter vacations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, creating a special experience for the whole family.
