Experience historic walls and a concert
What would the MV Festival be without "its" castles and manor houses, which the team scouts out and performs in up and down the country. For its 20th birthday, the festival launched the "Sleeping Beauties" series to highlight architectural monuments that were in a state of decay and urgently needed to be saved. The series was held for a second time in 2020 and we are picking up the thread again for its 35th anniversary.
Divitz moated castle is a worrying case: the uniquely beautiful 13th century complex urgently needs to be secured and renovated so that its important history can continue to be experienced. Due to its condition, the concert will take place in nearby Kenz after a guided tour of the moated castle.
This is where early music meets modern improvisation - a succinct description of ensemble feuervogel's performances. Since the members came together in 2017, they have won prizes and awards as well as the European music world. With their program "Elizabethan England - a musical miniature", ensemble feuervogel is dedicated to British music of the Renaissance period.

At 16:00 there will be a free guided tour of the Divitz moated castle (Parkstraße 19, 18314 Divitz-Spoldershagen). No extra ticket needs to be booked for this. It is included in the concert ticket.
