The picturesquely situated and impressively spruced up Gamehl Castle welcomes violinist Charlie Lovell-Jones for today's concert. Already the winner of international prizes such as the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition, the violinist, born in Wales in 1999, is one of the most promising young artists of our time and has honed his skills with the likes of Anne-Sophie Mutter, Leonidas Kavakos and Augustin Hadelich. Together with his duo partner, the Israeli pianist Ariel Lanyi, he performs works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Claude Debussy, Edward Elgar and others.
