Wooden figures, flowers, wine racks & shoes for planting, wooden boards for parties, ham or cheese platters, wooden wardrobes with metal hooks, processing of old oak beams

I use a chainsaw to cut old, disused oak beams from abandoned buildings or fence posts. Freshly felled trees or from storm damage challenge me in my ideas and my craft. Wood is life & my hobby is craftsmanship. I create figures, decorations, everyday objects and much more. I let myself be guided by the sight of wood as a material, as it usually determines the end product. My creativity & the wood of different shapes and species are united. The chainsaw, the sander, the flex, the lathe, linseed oil and much more are among my working tools. I coat the wood with linseed oil so that the material remains untreated.

Interventions in natural conditions, such as cutting back the floodplain forests along the Elbe so that the water drains away more quickly during extreme floods, are highly questionable. Sustainable flood protection is different.
