Wittow harvest festival

Visitors and locals are cordially invited to the colorful parade through the village of Putgarten at 10:30 a.m. with a varied program and entertainment at the Rügenhof. The entertainer Teddy Herz will accompany you through the day with well-known and popular pop tunes. The tradition will be continued again this year. Experience local crafts and enjoy specialties from the region in an autumnal atmosphere and enjoy the autumnal decoration of the Rügenhof. The Wieker brass band, the Jasmunder Plattdänzer, the Wittower Tanzhummeln and the belly dance group "Sterne der Insel" will provide entertaining entertainment. The culinary offerings range from the coveted cabbage pan to delicious potato pancakes, and pea stew from the goulash cannon is also offered for the benefit of the Putgarten fire department. Small animal breeders and shepherds show their animals and provide insights into rural crafts. For technology enthusiasts, the Gingst tractor enthusiasts present old tractors and, of course, the latest agricultural technology can also be admired from local farmers.
