In twelve letters, Franziska Dannheim addresses the unforgotten singer in a gentle and very personal way, shedding light on the stages of the life of the "Queen of Soul and Pop" and reflecting on the perspectives of her companions. The biography "A song for you" by Whitney Houston's long-time assistant Robyn Crawford, published in 2019, forms the basis. Markus Stollenwerk reduces the music to the essential and touching in careful arrangements far removed from covers and karaoke.
