Challenging spring hike through forest and stream valleys with interesting facts about early bloomers, rare plant species and insects.
One of the most beautiful impressions of spring in our region is the flowering of the larkspur and other early bloomers. In addition to common plants, the guided tour also introduces rare species about which you will learn interesting facts. In good weather, the first insects can be observed, including the woolly hoverfly, which is able to hover in front of the flower to suck nectar.
There are also interesting springs and streams in the area. They are particularly attractive to visit in spring. The hike leads through forest and stream valleys and is challenging.
The meeting point is at the Ziddorfer Mühle. From there, we continue by car to Hellgrund. Sturdy shoes, such as hiking boots or wellies, are recommended. If you have binoculars, you should bring them with you.
