Puppet theater in the Müritzeum for all ages 3 and up
It is cold and dark in winter. Nature rests and gathers strength for the new beginning. Jan rests too, wrapped up in a thick blanket. He knows when the year begins anew, when the snow melts, when the plant produces its first bud. He observes how the insects are attracted to the blossom, do their work - even become food for other animals - and the fruit ripens. Until the fall and the end of the harvests bring everything to rest again and the birds fly south. A round dance! Jan dances along joyfully.
The next summer he meets Auguste. She finds the winter too dark and cold and many things take too long. She needs more warmth, so more wood, and more space for new ideas and projects that will make her life worth living. She doesn't want to wait that long!
How long can Jan and nature dance their frenzy in harmony with nature and its annual cycles?
A play for understanding that we are part of nature, that it's not about a race for more, but about living in the here and now, devised and performed by Christiane Klatt from Berliner puppen etc. The play is still very fresh and will only premiere in March 2025. We are excited and looking forward to the plea for mindfulness and a little peace, something that children intuitively know and should be encouraged to do by adults, who need to be reminded of this.
We recommend a binding ticket reservation and ask you to be there a quarter of an hour before the start.
Price per person: 6 EUR

This new production marks the end of the theater season at the Müritzeum. But it will start again in October after the summer break!
