"Supernova" - A couple embarks on a journey in a motorhome to face the present
A film on the occasion of WORLD ALZHEIMER DAY 2024- September 21
Sam and Tusker have been a couple for twenty years. But since Tusker was diagnosed with premature dementia, their lives have changed. In order to be there for Tusker, Sam has given up his successful career as a pianist. Now the two of them want to make the most of the time they have left together. They set off on a journey in their old camper van to visit friends, family and important places from their past. On the way, their individual visions of the future begin to collide. Sam and Tusker must face the inevitable question of what it means to love each other in the face of a terminal illness.
"The Glow of Memory" meets "A Single Man": Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci shine as a couple in a heartwarming and heartbreaking film that celebrates great love.
