Children, Market & Festival

Children of kindergarten and primary school age from our facilities are invited to take part in the stations set up. Does your child not attend one of our facilities? Of course your child is also welcome to take part!

For 70 years, Germany has been celebrating World Children's Day, which focuses on children's rights.

The motto for World Children's Day on September 20, 2024 is "Children have rights...to protect their identity". It is the right of every child to develop well and shape their lives - no matter where they come from or what their residence status is.

Investing in children is necessary right now in order to overcome the major challenges of our time. Children of kindergarten and primary school age from our facilities are invited to take part in the stations set up. Does your child not attend one of our facilities? Of course, your child is also welcome to take part. There will be various stations in Schloßstraße from Alexandrinenplatz to Kanalstraße/Gartenstraße. For this reason, this area will also be closed to traffic. Residents can park behind the Alte Post. We will open access via the Posttüsche.
