Guided hike from Lauterbach to the Granitz hunting lodge
Start: 9:00 am
Meeting point: Lauterbach Mole/train station (arrival train from Bergen: 8:54 am)
Distance: 14 km (duration approx. 3 to 4 hours depending on speed)
From Lauterbach Mole station we set off in the direction of the Goor bathing house, before we enter the Goor forest area along the promenade and say hello to Caspar David Friedrich. Through the forest via the Path of Leisure and Knowledge we reach the cycle path to Muglitz, following the signs to Groß Stresow. Then we pass the Verräterhaus with the statue of King Friedrich Wilhelm I and continue to Klein Stresow, where we turn left towards Wandashorst, then along the cobbled road to the B196, which we cross and then follow the cycle path a little way towards Lancken-Granitz. Shortly before the village, we turn left onto a forest path and follow it to the next junction, where we turn right. At the "Jagdschloss" stop, we follow the signs to the hunting lodge, which we reach after approx. 13.5 km. If you still have time, take the ascent to the tower. Here you can stop for a bite to eat in the inn before returning.
