The Bergen Town Museum on Rügen is opening its new special exhibition "Sundquilters Treasures" with impressive and original quilt and patchwork works by the Sundquilter working group.
The members have been meeting for 25 years to learn from each other, sew together and put their creative ideas into practice. Old and new fabrics are transformed into artistic and impressive unique pieces, whether by sewing machine or by hand.
The Sundquilter working group brings together women from Stralsund and the surrounding area to live out their passion for handicrafts with imagination and skill. The original works of the talented quilters fascinate and amaze onlookers.
