All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees & Beyond - from NYC (US)

Disco meets metal - yes, you read that right! The New York band Tragedy (USA) brings you the most absurd and trashy tribute show concept you could ever dream of!

Disco hits such as "Stayin' Alive", "You're The One That I Want", "Sweet Caroline", "Le Freak", "Hot Stuff" or "Venus" revisited in a heavy metal arrangement reminiscent of Judas Priest, Mötley Crue and Guns'N'Roses.

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) says about the band: "Tragedy rocks sweet balls and can do no wrong! They are great fun!" - and the reviews in the global music press are literally gushing: "The band are far from being a joke act; they are simply brilliant", "immensely talented", "nuanced and multi-layered", "hard riffs and octave harmonies, as if they were the Bee Gees of hair metal"! And so on and so forth.

Tragedy's concept, while subversive and humorous, goes far beyond what others have done in satirical music - they celebrate the soul of the original song while turning the sonic landscape on its head.

Quite simply convincing! And now see for yourself - walk in to the bizarre metal disco party, because a Tragedy leaves no one quiet. It's going to get wild!

So - don't miss it!!!

A group of people are walking along a cobbled path with a city guide. On the right, blurred in the picture, a statue can be seen by the Pfaffenteich pond; the villas appear in the background. The focus is on the guide and a couple having a lively conversation., © Oliver Borchert
