... was born in Meißen. He began playing the trumpet with Siegfried Göckert in the "Jugendblasorchester Meißen". He later attended the "Carl Maria von Weber" music high school in Dresden. Michael Reiche continued his studies at the Musikhochschule in Dresden with Prof. Günter Wilpert and Mathias Schmutzler, then in Hamburg with Prof. Matthias Höfs. During his studies, he was a trainee at the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden and Freiburg. Among other prizes, he won first prize at the Elise Meyer Competition in Hamburg, the trumpet competition sponsored by the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI and - as a member of the Dresden Brass Quintet - first prize among amateurs at the International Brass Competition of the European City of Passau. The trumpeter has played in various ensembles (Young German Brass Soloists, Brass Ensemble of the German Brass Academy, Esbjerg International Chamber Music Festival, Denmark). After an engagement at Theater Lübeck, Michael Reiche has been principal trumpet of the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010.
Conductor: Patrick Tuttel (Humperdinck Fellowship)
... is a fellow of the Theater und Orchester GmbH Neubrandenburg / Neustrelitz (Humperdinck Fellowship) for the 2024/25 season. Born in Bamberg in 1993, he studied school music in Würzburg and conducting in Weimar. He is currently completing a master's degree in orchestral conducting in Freiburg. He has already worked with the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Hofer Sinfoniker and the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
