Philharmonie zum Film / Fairy tale film (1973) with live orchestra
Fairytale sounds, royal fanfares, hunting horns in the forest and festive dances at court - in the classic film Three Nuts for Cinderella, music plays a key role alongside the enchanting title character. Sensitively conceived, the simple and wonderfully designed orchestral score by Karel Svoboda provides the appropriate tonal flair until Cinderella finally gets her prince charming in her search for love and happiness.
Philharmonie zum Film brings the film to the Great House of the Volkstheater a few days before Christmas. Thanks to the technical possibility of separating soundtracks, the film will be shown with original dialog and accompanied by the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock.
