Christmas tale for ages 5 and up by Peter Ensikat based on the Brothers Grimm: "The Bremen Town Musicians" is one of the most famous fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and tells a timeless story about the strengthening power of friendship and solidarity - and the courage to never give up, even in hopeless situations.
The donkey has worked hard for the miller all his life. But now the daily burdens have become too heavy for him and it is actually time for him to go into well-deserved retirement. But he is wrong, because the ungrateful miller wants to get rid of the useless donkey as quickly as possible. So the donkey gathers all his courage and decides to start all over again in his old age. He wants to become a town musician in Bremen! On his journey, he soon finds companions who all share the same fate: the dog, who has become too weak for his duties as a hunting and guard dog, the tired cat, who no longer wants to hunt mice, and the old rooster, who is even threatened with the cooking pot. The four of them set off and sing their hearts out about their fear of this new self-determined life in freedom. And they find out what can be achieved as a strong community when they resolutely confront a gang of robbers!
"The Bremen Town Musicians" is one of the most famous fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and tells a timeless story about the strengthening power of friendship and solidarity - and the courage to never give up, even in seemingly hopeless situations. With humor and, of course, rousing songs!
