From northern Sweden to southern India
After studying music, German-born guitarist Krishn Kypke traveled to countries such as India, China, Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan. Actually to take some time off and not make music - well, the time off didn't work out and so he not only got to know the culture, country and people in these countries
not only the culture, country and people, but also their music and string instruments. He brought these back to Germany and is now on concert tour here with music from faraway countries. The music is accompanied by travel stories that are sometimes cheerful, sometimes dramatic and sometimes both at the same time. Exotic instruments and melodies from faraway countries are played. But also arrangements and their own compositions that musically tell of their travels. A concert where "world music" in the best sense of the word
can be heard. In addition to the guitar, sitar, dutar, pipa and tumbi can be heard. Never heard them before? Never mind! Just close your eyes and enjoy.
Mulled wine, cakes, coffee and other drinks (including cold ones for refreshment) are offered before the program from 3 pm. This is an opportunity to get into conversation with one another.
