For centuries, people have been telling each other the story of Beauty and the Beast and the power of their love, which is so strong that it can even break a curse. A curse that turned the prince into a terrifying beast. When one day a poor merchant strays into a castle garden and picks a rose there, the lord of the castle, a strange beast, demands a high price for it. From then on, the merchant's youngest daughter Belle has to live in the enchanted castle. Belle's initial fear quickly gives way to curiosity, however, when she discovers that there is a soft core behind the beast's hard shell and that she can even laugh and dance with him. But Belle is torn as she asks herself many questions: What is the mysterious prince in the mirror all about? And why are there these enchanted creatures in the castle? Belle sets off in search of answers...

Theater Liberi presents the French folk tale in a contemporary version with plenty of humor and emotional original compositions. The musical performers delight the audience with varied choreographies to romantic ballads and pop songs with hit potential - the musical is a live experience for the whole family!
