Ding, dong. The doorbell rings. There's a kangaroo at the door. The Kangaroo Chronicles are cult! The kangaroo, a communist, cheeky marsupial, moves in with the little artist. They have adventures, meet their friends, drink schnapps with Herta, a Berlin veteran with a Kodder snout, and beat up Nazis.
A feast for the eyes and ears, because "The Kangaroo Chronicles" will be performed on stage as an AURAL theater. Three actors act as narrators for various characters and make noises at the same time. Their task is to bring scenes to life: Footsteps, the rustling of clothes - but also fights or the creaking of a sailing boat. In this way, the ensemble acoustically builds stage sets "in the head" of the audience and can switch between characters and locations at lightning speed. Even the soundtrack is developed together with musician Matthias Herrmann. Cinema for the ears, so to speak!
