On "Blue Light Day", we invite you to a special performance of "The Heathens of Kummerow - How it all began". A day that combines culture and commitment - for the whole family!
On this special day, we would like to thank the volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure our safety and the well-being of the community. Volunteer initiatives such as the volunteer fire department, DLRG, THW, ASB and DRK will receive greatly reduced admission as groups on this day - in recognition of their valuable work.
In addition, "normal visitors" will have the opportunity to view emergency vehicles, take part in hands-on activities and ask the blue light heroes questions about their exciting day-to-day work in the courtyard of the Alte Oberförsterei Born from 14:00.
Important: The inner courtyard of the Alte Oberförsterei Born is also freely accessible from 14:00 without a valid theater ticket.

Kummerow in 1910, a few days before Easter. This is the time when the big vacations are about to begin and the older pupils will move to the secondary school in Randemünde and be confirmed. But it is also the time when the pagans of Kummerow get up to some particularly wild pranks. These range from the pagan Waleien to the baptism of pagans in the mill stream. Two men meet on the village street. Do they know each other? Who are they?
