Cooperation event with the "Blue Community Neustrelitz"
The protection of water as the basis of life for all of us is the most important task that we as a society must strive for globally, nationally and locally. In Germany, too, the effects of the climate crisis such as heavy rainfall, drought and falling groundwater levels pose major challenges in dealing with water as a resource. In order to preserve water in the best quality for the future, principles must be applied to the use of this vital resource that enable sensible use, fair distribution and responsible management.
The Blue Community pursues 5 principles that protect our water as a public good. The aim of this evening is to present the background to the Blue Community, to explain what has happened in Neustrelitz to protect water so far and what projects and wishes are pending for 2025.
The speaker, Anoosh Sophie Werner, has a Master's degree in "Sustainability, Education and Transformation" and is a freelance water activist and future designer. As an ambassador for Blue Community Germany, she is politically committed to the protection of water and develops creative educational formats that are used throughout Germany with the aim of promoting a change in water awareness. She sees water as a teacher from whom we humans can learn a great deal.
The event will be accompanied by music from "GiantGoldenRadio". They will be playing solid pop-soul sounds, fluffy lyrics and plenty of attitude.
Free admission. Registration not necessary.
