Since May 31, 2023, tourist visas could be applied for again for the Kaliningradski Rayon and so Reinhardt Klette began an adventurous bike tour at the end of June 2024. The journey took him through beautiful dune, moor and lake landscapes along the picturesque Baltic and Polish Baltic coast and, for the first time, into the Russian part of the Curonian Spit. During the trip, Reinhardt Klette visited Insterburg/Chernyakhovsk, the birthplace of his father. And gathered impressions of his childhood and youth in East Prussia.
