Christmas tale based on the Brothers Grimm
The donkey can no longer carry enough, the rooster no longer crows loudly enough, the cat prefers to lie on its lazy skin and the dog no longer likes to hunt. Because the animals have grown old, people want to get rid of them as quickly as possible. But before it gets that far, the animals better take their fate into their own hooves, paws and claws. The outcasts decide to go to Bremen to become town musicians. On their journey, they have to overcome challenges, go on adventures and teach a gang of robbers the meaning of fear. Despite their differences, the four realize that they are only strong together and eventually find a home, even if it isn't Bremen.
The story of the four lovable underdogs is a plea for solidarity and animal togetherness.
