Open-air reading stage
"terrain vague" is more of a reading meadow than a reading stage, as readings are held in open spaces, gardens and courtyards. The founders Everest Girard, David Lorenz and Claudia Schlegel each invite two to three authors from Rostock and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the readings and read short stories, poetry and prose excerpts together with them in a program lasting about an hour. The reading locations change, but the setting is always more or less the same: a chair, a table, a loudspeaker. The audience sits on blankets or folding chairs. The atmosphere is created by the respective location.
Parallel to the reading, a free-from-the-air text is written in the style of a cadavre exquis - everyone is allowed to take notes and add small pieces of text without knowing what is in the previous sections. At the end, the free-from-the-air text is revealed in its entirety and read aloud.
Admission is free, there will be a donation hat.
Location: at Frieda23, Friedrichstraße 23, 18057 Rostock
