Milonga with the quartet Nochero from Berlin. The Schwerin Tango Association invites you to its last live music event of 2024.
The powerful and nuanced tango sound of the German-Argentinean tango quartet Nochero draws on the repertoire of the great Argentinean tango orchestras (Alfredo Gobbi, Juan d'Arienzo, Osvaldo Pugliese etc.). In addition, the arrangements and compositions originally written for Nochero by bandoneonist Peter Reil give this tango formation its unmistakable and fascinating tango language.
Nochero was formed in Berlin in 2023 from tango musicians who have been performing on international tango stages for over 20 years. Since 2024 Nochero has been playing at tango balls and concert halls in Berlin (International Queertango Festival), Magdeburg, Schwerin, Osnabrück, Plauen, Leipzig and many more.
In 2024 Nochero received a grant from the Berlin Senate for a CD production.
