In this course, the instructor works individually with the participants according to their existing skills and wishes. Beginners first learn how to use the sewing machine for simple sewing work, how to work with ready-made cuts and patterns, how to cut the fabric, and how to take measurements and mark out for fitting. Making pillowcases, blankets, window decorations, or repair and alteration work can also be content.
Advanced students can sew skirts, pants, dresses or jackets. The course instructor will give a variety of tips for the professional execution of the work and help with the individual implementation. It is advantageous to learn on your own sewing machine. However, machines from the district adult education center can also be used.
