Trechow Castle is a monument of national importance.
It was built in 1590 - 1601 on an old foundation. One of the few knightly houses from before the Thirty Years' War. Uniquely built from granite ashlars and with a high-quality interior, including an Italian illusion painting from 1795, the current restoration of which can be viewed.
