Station cinema "Maria dreams - Or: The art of new beginnings"

Maria (Karin Viard) has found her calling in her work as a cleaner. She has been married for 25 years, is thorough, conscientious and dedicated, only sometimes a little clumsy. On the side, she pursues another passion: she writes poetry, which she does not share with anyone - especially not with her husband, who does not understand her interest in the fine arts. So he can't understand Maria's enthusiasm when she accepts a job at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. There, Maria immerses herself in a glamorous world that is completely alien to her.
