The St. Nicholas Market at St. John's Monastery in Stralsund brings the oldest Christmas market in the Baltic Sea region back to life.
First held in 1512 as the Nikolai Market, a market is now once again held in the medieval atmosphere of St. John's Monastery in Stralsund in honour of the patron saint of the Hanseatic League.
Jugglers, traders, medieval sounds, fire artists, a living nativity scene and activities for young and old invite you to travel back in time to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Food and drink will also be provided.
