Wangeliner Garten invites you to the spring and plant market on Labor Day
On May 1, the Wangeliner Garten kicks off the new season with its spring and plant market. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., regional nurseries and tree nurseries will be offering everything a gardener's heart desires: from old varieties of fruit trees, herbs, perennials and garden plants to the much sought-after Wangelin organic tomatoes. Lillien-Astrid, Oliven-Chrysoula and Rosen-Holger also offer their own plants for sale. The range is complemented by ceramics, organic cheese and - for the first time - jewelry from local artisans. Thanks to the already legendary bazaar with home-baked cakes from the Wangeliners, wild sausages and freshly baked flatbreads from the clay oven, the palate is also well catered for. May 1st is also the first opportunity of the year to stop by for a cappuccino in the garden café or the Gnevsdorf Clay Museum. It is also the start of guided tours of the garden and the straw and clay buildings. Stories for young and old and the mobile swap house round off the May Day program. Admission is free. wangeliner-garten.de
