Christmas Tour 2025
SÖHNE MANNHEIMS PIANO: Söhne hits arranged with maximum intensity and emotion - for piano and five voices.a concert grand piano, a great pianist and five great voices. This is the magical formula with which the legendary SÖHNE MANNHEIMS bring their greatest hits to the stage live in special piano versions, and you can expect an evening full of goosebump moments - carried by the classically trained pianist Florian Sitzmann, who has shaped the Söhne sound for many years with his sensitive and virtuoso piano playing. His fascinating piano lines are combined live with the typical polyphonic Söhne vocals, performed by prominent vocalists from the Söhne musicians' collective: The impressive soul voices of the sons Karim Amun and Dominic Sanz can be experienced live; the voice of Michael Klimas, known from hits such as "Deine Waffe ist die Liebe", and the unmistakably smoky voice of singer/songwriter Giuseppe "Gastone" Porrello. The icing on the sound cake: the live lyrics of the eloquent long-time Söhne rapper Metaphysics.
SÖHNE MANNHEIMS PIANO is a new successful SÖHNE MANNHEIMS project - created during the coronavirus pandemic. Since concerts with the ten-piece Söhne band were not possible for a long time due to the corona restrictions, the band surprised everyone in 2021 with the compact live format SÖHNE MANNHEIMS PIANO and the EP "Live @Capitol": The digitally released mini-album offers fascinating piano remakes of the Söhne hits "Vielleicht", "Das hat die Welt noch nicht gesehen" and "Lieder drüber singen", as well as piano versions of the new Söhne songs "Moral" and "Aus und vorbei". A highlight of the EP is the Söhne classic "Freiheit" from 2011, produced to mark the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.SÖHNE MANNHEIMS PIANO provides unique goosebump moments. The program includes Sons classics from over 28 years of band history such as "Und wenn auch ein Lied", "Geh davon aus" or "Das hat die Welt noch nicht gesehen" as well as new songs by the sons such as "Moral", "Miracle" and the recently released hit singles "Eine Million Lieder" and "Mut".The SÖHNE MANNHEIMS remain true to themselves by changing - and surprising again and again. After 18 gold and 8 platinum albums, after tours through clubs and halls, after highs and lows, they are now continuing the story - with the new project SÖHNE MANNHEIMS PIANO.
