For over 25 years, the German Generation Film Award has been honoring young filmmakers, mixed-age film teams and filmmakers aged 60 and over for their creative film contributions. Almost 150 films were submitted in the current year, 13 of which made it to the big screen at the Bundes.Festival.Film. The Children's and Youth Film Center is now making six of these films exclusively available as part of this year's SHORT FILM DAY.
