Barth Youth Ensemble
by Piet Oltmanns
Italy maybe 200 years ago.
Arlecchino leaves his small village to find happiness in the world. But what kind of world is it in which the fat priest insists on having the fairy burned because he thinks she is a witch? The merchant from Venice also seems to be rather a bad quack and Signora Pantalone is not to be trusted anyway. The maid Columbina might be able to help, but before Arlecchino can enjoy her delicious roast, there are still adventures to be had and obstacles to be cleared out of the way.
A turbulent comedy in the style of the Comedia dell'Arte.
