Naturally Romantic

As part of the series Psychoanalysis and Art for the Caspar David Friedrich Year

"Do you see the music in the landscape?" Caspar David Friedrich is said to have asked when looking at his paintings. You can experience this fascinating connection between music and painting live with cellist Katja Westlund-Morgenstern, pianist Nobue Ito and painter Matthias Oppermann. In this performance entitled "Reply to a lost letter", Oppermann's paintings are set to the music of Johannes Brahms' Cello Sonata in E minor Opus 38. Experience how two different art forms, two different languages enter into a new connection. After the performance, we invite you to a discussion. An event organized by IPPMV together with the M-V regional association of the DGPT in cooperation with the Koeppenhaus and St. Spiritus. Admission 8 and 5 Euro
