From 12 noon onwards, we will guide you through the afternoon with music. Be there when the shanty choir starts singing maritime melodies at 1 pm.
This year we will be awarding a prize for the "Sassnitz favorite fish roll 2025", whether it's matjes, bismarck, salmon or smoked fish - the votes of the guests will decide on their favorite. And you can sample the delicacies at our local suppliers Kutter Heimat 2, Fischland und Friederike, Restaurant Kutterfisch, Kutter 4 and Rügenfisch. At 3 p.m., the most popular fish sandwich will be chosen and guests taking part in the campaign will have the chance to win great prizes.
Under the motto "Season opener with 2-stroke and classic car meeting, open to all types", we are once again expecting mopeds, vehicles and the like this year. The 2-stroke Rokker Rügen and the Oldtimer-Freunde Rügen are already planning their trip to Sassnitz. With a little "extra" we welcome the riders with their unusual machines at the pier foot building and on the wind promenade.
The KÖNIGSSTUHL National Park Centre provides information about the highlights of its program at the visitor center. At the information stand, young visitors can learn about the Jasmund National Park while having fun and games.
For the first time, we will be showing a paper model exhibition with many imaginative buildings in the Molenfußsaal. You can marvel at detailed paper replicas of Dwasieden Castle, the lighthouses of Cape Arkona, the Sassnitz beacon and the "Harro Koebke" sea rescue cruiser. And if you feel like it, you can try your hand at model making.
Afterwards, from 5 p.m., the Sassnitz Fire Brigade Promotion Association and the Sassnitz Volunteer Fire Brigade invite you to an Easter bonfire at the bonfire site behind the Kurplatz with food, drink and music.
