Public guided tour of the MEERESMUSEUM Mon & Wed: 10 a.m. | Tue & Thu: 1 p.m. | 2.50 euros plus museum ticket
The 30-minute short tour offers an initial orientation in the MEERESMEUM. It focuses on new floor-to-ceiling large-scale installations in the Katharinenhalle, such as the media-staged shoal of sardines with original-sized animal models. The tour also leads to the sculpture of the popular leatherback turtle "Marlene" and the historic fin whale skeleton. The eventful history of the building complex can be experienced in the choir of the former monastery church.
