The PierSession combines electronic music with unique artists. This time: Sarah Wild, known for her driving acid basslines and melodic piano elements - energetic, groovy and full of passion.
Sarah Wild grew up in Jena and was influenced by music at an early age. As a child, her father took her on tour with his surf rock band and her grandmother, a music teacher, encouraged her on the saxophone and piano. She played in bands and jazz projects in her youth and discovered her passion for electronic music.
In Jena, she became part of the local club scene and began performing as a saxophonist for DJs. She later moved to Berlin, one of the most important cities for electronic music. In 2016, she started her solo project "Sarah Wild" and quickly became a sought-after artist. She played at renowned festivals such as Fusion, Garbicz, Into The Woods and Pangea as well as in Berlin clubs such as Watergate, Kater Blau, Sisyphos and Renate.
With energetic sets influenced by disco and Italo sounds, she has helped shape the club scene in Berlin and the Netherlands. She has released on labels such as Permanent Vacation and Feines Tier and is working on her own label "Midnight Operators". Her music combines driving acid basslines with melodic piano elements and creates a unique, captivating soundscape.
