A reading with printmaking improvisation
On April 24, 2025, at 7.30 pm, a special reading will take place at Kulturdiele M8, Mönchstraße 8 in Stralsund.
Anke vom Sund and Jörg Schieke will be reading poetry and prose, while Greifswald artist Helene Beckmann will be creating live, close-up printmaking impressions.
The inspiration for the reading is the city's poetry album in the poetry window at Mühlenstraße 41, which Helene Beckmann and Anke vom Sund will fill with a poem and a print every month from January to December 2025. Cooperation partner is the SPEICHER_Haus for: VIERTEL_besetzt.
The city of Stralsund will play a special role in the evening: the imagined, the found, the pictorial and the felt will be expressed in poetry and prose and captured in a live print.

Anke vom Sund, author, Stralsund, studied New German Literature and Romance Studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Universidad Nacional de Bogotá, Colombia. Nominated for the Literature Prize MV 2022. poetry. Prose. Poetry in public space.
Helene Beckmann, visual artist, studies art at the University of Greifswald, her artistic focus is on printmaking. Previous exhibitions: Insomnale, group exhibition in the "Städtische Galerie" in Neuburg an der Donau and others.
