The actress Friederike Serr reads from "Herr Lehmann" by Sven Regener.

It is 1989 and West Berlin is still surrounded by a wall. Without any particular highlights or major ambitions, 29-year-old Frank Lehmann, who everyone just calls "Mr. Lehmann", lives in Berlin-Kreuzberg. He earns a modest living as a beer tapper in a pub. But then his daily routine is threatened from outside - his parents arrive from the West German provinces, a woman tempts him to visit the Prinzenbad and then the Wall comes down! - The debut novel (2001) by the singer and songwriter of the rock group "Element of Crime" is warm-hearted, authentic and bursting with humor. A great read in the year 35 after the fall of the Wall.
