Join our rangers on a guided hike in the Seedorf hills.
From Moritzdorf, the route leads to the village founded by Prince Wilhelm Malte zu Putbus in 1841 with its beautiful thatched houses. Some of the houses date back to the time when the village was founded and have been preserved to this day. On the tour through the village, you will learn interesting facts about the local history and the history of the Hotel Moritzdorf.
The hike then leads along the hiking trail in the direction of Seedorf. On the way to the small fishing village, you can experience a wide variety of flora. Seedorf was already used by the Swedish fleet as a natural harbor for supplies during the Napoleonic Wars (1792-1815). From there, the route leads through the Seedorf hill country with its wonderful views towards Baabe and Sellin back to Moritzdorf.
Please remember to wear sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing.
