CHILDREN'S THEATER WITH THEATER MIMIKRI "A PUG WANTS TO DANCE!"
"Sensation! Round giant pug dances in the state ballet!"
But until the time actually comes, Paula and her dog experience turbulent adventures.
Because nobody wants to believe her that Piff, the chubby pug, can actually dance and play music. An exciting and funny encouragement to the motto
Being different is our meeting place!
theatermimikri, founded in 1982, is a mobile, professional independent theater that produces in Büdingen, Hesse, from where it performs nationwide and in neighboring countries. The theater works as a self-managing collective and is coordinated by Christiane Burkard, Margret Fehrer and Lilli Schwethelm. The name mimikri means: "the art of transformation in order to survive" The artists understand the medium of theater not only as a saleable production of theater productions but as a possibility of special human relationships.
The clichés of traditional gender roles, which are often discriminatory for both girls and boys, are countered by theater mimikri in an amazingly natural way with new images that are enthusiastically received by children and parents.
Family theater with music and pug ballet recommended for ages 5 and up
