A diverse art exhibition in a historic setting: the Kirch Mummendorf church support group is once again inviting visitors to this year's KunstOffen art and culture festival in and around the village church.
For over 1000 years, the hill above the Stepenitz floodplains, on which the small village church of Kirch Mummendorf is enthroned, has been a place where people come together.
The church support group, which has set itself the goal of preserving this old village church and filling it with new life, is once again organizing a special kind of art and culture festival this year: 30 different artists - mainly from the region - are exhibiting their works in the historic setting. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, handicrafts, an extensive live music program inside and outside the church and many other interesting contributions will be on display. There is also a small children's playground so that parents can enjoy the art in peace, as well as a bouncy castle.
