Watercolors and acrylic works, also large format (1m x 1.5m) by Petra Mücke
I am an autodiact and have been sketching and painting from an early age. Creativity is my hobby and my oasis of peace, where I can be with myself and find fulfillment. My painting ranges from watercolors to small and large acrylic paintings (1m x 1.5m) on canvas with figurative and currently with abstract motifs that lie dormant in me and want to get out, hence the title of the exhibition. I was born in Ludwigslust, lived in Mecklenburg for a few years and then spent about 26 years in various places in Germany. But my longing for Mecklenburg - for this landscape and the people - made me come back here.
Last year I showed my pictures to the public for the first time in the following exhibitions:

09.2024 Art and Culture Night, Ludwigslust.
