The next picture book cinema "Billy Bagger" by Jan Zberg will take place on Tuesday, 24.09.2024 at 15:30 in the Grevesmühlen City Library. The children can experience imaginative and exciting stories together, discover details in the pictures and answer questions. They learn how to handle books, listen to and understand stories and are introduced to literature and reading in a playful way. All picture book cinemas are free of charge, start at 3:30 pm and last approx. 15 minutes. They are suitable for children aged 4 to 6.
Dad works as a crane operator on a building site. One day, Billy is allowed to visit him there and watch the men at work. This is his greatest dream come true. And when an excavator breaks down, he even gets to help a little. There's no question that Billy wants to be an excavator driver one day.

Tuesday, 22.10.2024 15:30 "I want a lion" by Annemarie van der Eem
Finn wants an animal. And he already knows what kind: a lion! With sharp claws and sharp teeth. "No way," says mom. "He'll eat the letter carrier in one bite. You can have a grasshopper." Grasshoppers are boring. Then he wants a hippopotamus to roll around in the mud with. Finn doesn't like mom's suggestion of getting a hamster. But he is clever. Mom can't say no to a dog. If only she had known that he is just as wild as a lion. Funny dialogs from everyday family life tell the story of Finn. All parents will find themselves in a humorous way, because in most families it's always about the desire for a pet.
